Pierre Pucheu
Pierre Pucheu born the June 27th 1899 and shot the March 20th 1944 is a French industrialist and politician. He was Secretary of State inside the Vichy government of July 1941 at April 1942.
Biography
After studies with the National university, it makes career in industry: it is in charge of the creation of the European Trust of steel, directs the operations department of the iron and steel Counter, depend on the Employers' federation of the French iron and steel industryIn 1934, he is member of the Cross-of-fire colonel of Rocque, then in 1936 of the French Popular party (PF) of Jacques Doriot. He leaves the PF in 1937, when he becomes high bank clerk Worms. He is shot on March 20th, 1944, the general de Gaulle having refused his application of grace.
Concerning the business of the hostages of Chateaubriant, it is established that the services of the ministry for the interior communicated to the Germans a list of 61 names of internees of Chateaubriant which contained 17 of the 27 shot of October 22nd, 1941. The execution of hostages by the means of the Special sections of Vichy was the principal means of right to justify its judgment. It was as alleged as the General De Gaulle feared a strategy of Roosevelt which would have consisted in diluting it in a whole of Vichyist repented and would have thus prevented it from arriving at the capacity.
