Pierre Pican
Pierre Pican is a bishop French, born the February 27th 1935 with Granville (Manche).
Biography
It made its religious profession at the Salésien S the September 15th 1955, and was ordered priest the April 24th 1966. Named bishop coadjutor of Bayeux the March 10th 1988, it was devoted the April 17th 1988 in the Cathédrale Notre-Dame of Bayeux, and was named bishop of Bayeux and Lisieux the November 21st 1988.
In September 2001, he was condemned to 3 months of suspended sentence for misprision of crimes paedophiles in his diocese. It was a first in Europe.
