Pierre Paradis (July 16th 1950 with Bedford -) is a politician Québécois. He is the liberal Député of Brominates-Missisquoi to the National Assembly of Quebec.

Biography

He received his license in right to the Université of Ottawa in 1973, and after studies in Droit of the businesses, he is allowed with the Barreau of Quebec in 1975.

Paradise is initially elected appointed in Brominates-Missisquoi in a by-election the November 17th 1980. It sits in the opposition at the time of the second government of Rene Lévesque, being the Porte-parole as regards social affairs.

Under Robert Bourassa, he is in particular the Minister for Labor and municipal businesses at the end of the Années 1980, then at the beginning of the Années 1990, he is the Québécois Minister for the Environnement as well as the Leader of the government.

When Jacques Parizeau, Lucien Bouchard and Bernard Landry is with the capacity, it represents the Liberal party of Quebec as regards Agriculture and of electoral reform, preserving its post of leader of the opposition and sitting to the parliamentary Assemblée of the Francophonie.

Paradise had a political disagreement with Jean Charest after the election the April 14th 2003 and it had to leave the majority of its political offices. It would have been excluded from the Council of Ministers because of its disagreement with Daniel Johnson.

Still appointed liberal in June 2006, he voted against the bill 23 of sound government which privatize part of the National park of the Mount-Orford. He is re-elected on March 26th, 2007.
