Pierre Péju

Pierre Péju is a novelist, essay writer and professor of French philosophy.

Life and work

Resulting from a family of booksellers of Lyons origin, Pierre Péju makes his studies of Philosophie at the University of the Sorbonne. Student impassioned by the demonstrations of May 68, it collaborates since 1971 in various newspapers and reviews. Professor with the Champollion college, then with the international College Stendhal, Grenoble, and director of program to the International College of Philosophy, he is also the author of several tests, novels, tales and news. Specialist in the German romanticism, it directs the romantic Collection (German field) to the editions Jose Corti.
