It is a merchant of fabrics, Blanchisseur and Lavandier of Laval and Mayenne. The various members of its family are implied in the trade and the manufacture of the fabrics with Mayenne.Pierre Nicolais, his father, born with Mayenne in 1732, made the fortune of the family, but carried out large way of life and essuya a bankruptcy of which he managed to be raised. His/her François brother with Nogent-le-Rotrou was manufacturer and merchant of cheesecloth S. His Victoire sister married his cousin Julien-Louis Nicolais de Clinchamp in 1771. Others still come from the Portugal and the colonies.
