Pierre Mikaïloff

Pierre Mikaïloff is a writer, guitarist and musician French rock'n'roll, born with the beginning of the Années 1960. He currently lives in Paris.

Biography

Years 1980

Pierre Mikaïloff joined Excentric the, Parisian pop group, in June 1982. Afterwards, only, one week of repetitions, the group makes the first part of Sylvain Sylvain, ex- New York Dolls, with the Gibus (Paris). At the summer 1983, provided with a model produced by Eric Remains (of the group Metal Urbain), the Excentric ones sign on the label Réflexes (the Bleaks, the Infidels, Gangsters, Grise Lovesong…). All that I want , their second 45 turns, is one of the hits of the winter 1985. This title propels them to Phonogram (today Universal), which signs them on its Philips label. That I prefer , recorded with Jacob' S Studio, in Surrey, enables them to connect the rounds (whose podium R.M.C in 1987), and is reproduced on the B.O of 7th Sky , film of Jean-Louis Daniel.Les excuses of their label and of their editor, who are long in financing the production of an album (that Jacno or Jeff Eyrich could have realized), end up sapping moral group, which separates in 1990.

Years 1990

During years 1990, Pierre Mikaïloff finds Jacno, with which it starts a collaboration which always lasts. He takes part in the album of Herve Zerrouk, ex-singer in Excentric the, (for Atmosphériques), records an album with Jean-Philippe Geoffray (for SONY), and frequent of the scenario writers to the edge of the contemporary art, like Philippe Parreno or Charles of Meaux - musical preparing of Crédits , in 1999, for the first, and original soundtrack of the feature film Shimkent Hotel , for the second, in 2003.

From 2003 with today

As from 2003, Pierre Mikaïloff starts to collect the notes which will constitute the Stereotyped body of Some, an investigation into the disappearance of the rock' roll , a collection of news bathed of culture rock'n'roll, published in February 2006 (Harmattan/L' Écarlate). The same year, it publishes a new news, Heaven' S Boots , for Minimum Rock'n'roll' Roll (Astral Beaver). In the re-entry 2006, it publishes a news I Wanna Win , for DOGS, Histoires for Dominique (at Krakoen), homage to Dominique Laboubée, late singer of the Dogs. In October 2006, it takes part with Jacno in the concert birthday 40 years of Rock & Folk in the Bataclan and animates cultural chronicles vidéos on various Blogs and cultural sites such as Gonzaï. In 2007, it publishes If you don' T wanna KIS me, Fuck Off! , in number 4 of the literary review Minimum Rock'n'roll' Roll , and the Dictionary reasoned of the punk , with the Scali editions. Its next book, a biography of Girl Taxi entitled In the search of Daniel Darc , is awaited for February 2008, always with the Scali editions.
