Pierre Mazeaud , born the August 24th 1929 with Lyon (4th) is a lawyer, Politician and mountaineer French.
He is resulting from a family of known lawyers (in particular Denis Mazeaud and Henri Mazeaud). Its principal leisure is the Alpinisme which it practices with high level. July 11th, 1961, Pierre Mazeaud and other mountaineers failed to die in the Mont Blanc because of an unforeseen storm (see on this subject). In 1978, it directed the first French forwarding to climb the Mount Everest, and reached itself the top, on October 15th.
Since 1968, he was on several occasions appointed, vice-president of the National Assembly, Secretary of State.
He was to advise of state, member then president of the Constitutional council until March 2007.

- It was elected President of the Foundation Charles de Gaulle in January 2007.
- July 18th, 2007: appointed vice-president of the Committee of reflection on the modernization and the rebalancing of the institutions by the president of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy. This committee brings together politicians and constitutionnalists of different backgrounds. It will have three months to work out proposals, in the line of the speech which the president of the Republic made on July 12th, 2007 with Épinal.
