Pierre Laroque
Admitted with the Council of State in 1929, Pierre Laroque must with his entry in 1931 with the cabinet of Adolphe Landry, Minister for Labor and social Welfare, to become a specialist in the Social Security. Revoked in October 1940 for Jewish origins comtadines, it enters the private sector, takes part in Lyon with the organization of resistance “Combat” and joined London in April 1943.
Returned to France in June 1944 with the General De Gaulle, it is named Managing director of the Social security on October 5th 1944. It then takes a considerable share in the drafting of the ordinances melting and organizing the Social security.
Replaced by Jacques Doublet, it turns over to the Council of State in October 1951. It is named in 1953 President of the Sub-section of the Dispute, then President associated in 1959, which will be worth to him in 1962 to face the Général De Gaulle in connection with the exercise of the special capacities in accordance with article 16 of the Constitution (Canal stop). In August 1964, it is finally named President of the Social Section of the Council of State, function which it exerts until his retirement in 1980.
