Pierre Lacour
Pierre Lacour known as the father born in 1745 and died in Bordeaux in 1814 and buried with the Cemetery of Chartreuse, is a French painter.
Second Price of Rome in 1769, (the prize winner was Joseph Barthélémy Bouteux), it was in charge in 1802 of the restoration of the palate of Rohan (current Town hall of Bordeaux). Professor of drawing at the central school, it founds in 1801 the Musée of the fine arts of Bordeaux from which he is the first conservative. With his death his/her son Pierre Lacour wire succeeds to him this load. Its self-portrait and its Seen of part of the port and quays of Bordeaux are exposed to the museum. Pierre-Nolasque Bergeret and Jean Alaux says the Roman, were his pupils.
