Pierre Chevallier is a French politician, born the January 30th 1909 with Orleans (Loiret) and tragically deceased the August 12th 1951 in the city of which he was the mayor.
He is mayor of Orleans as from 1944 (provisional mayor) then is confirmed by the voters in 1947. He fills this mandate until his death. Pierre Chevallier devotes himself to the rebuilding of his city. At the Parliament, he becomes a specialist in town planning. He also pleads for the installation of the Val-de-Loire and his rich person inheritance.
August 11th, 1951, it is named Secretary of State to Technical education, Youth and the Sports in the Gouvernement Rene Pleven (2). The following day, whereas it was going to go to the inauguration of a suspended bridge to the Châtillon-on-Loire, its wife the slaughtering of five balls of revolver. State funeral was made to him.
His wife, whom he had known at the time of his studies in Tours and Paris, had been victim of a fit of jealously. She was discharged one year later by the court of Rheims, sworn recognizing her role of ridiculed wife.
