Pierre Ier de Courtenay
Pierre Ier de France born in 1126, died in 1183, lord of Courtenay, wire of Louis VI the Large (1081-1137), king de France and of Adele of Savoy; stem of the House capétienne of Courtenay.
It accompanied his brothers Louis VII by France and Robert Ier de Dreux with the Second crusade. Among the crusaders, there was also Renaud de Courtenay, the father his future wife.
He thus married in 1150 Elisabeth de Courtenay (1127-1205), lady of Courtenay and had:

- a girl, born about 1158 and married to Eudes of Walk
- Alice de Courtenay (1160-1218), married to Guillaume de Joigny, then with Aymar Taillefer, count d' Angoulême
- Eustachie (1164-1235), successively married in Guillaume de Brienne, lord of Ramerupt, then with Guillaume Ier de Champlitte, prince d' Achaïe and with the count Guillaume Ier de Sancerre.
- Clemence, married to GUI VI, Viscount of Thiers.
- Robert (1168-1239), lord of Champignelles-in-Puisaye.
