Pierre Ier d\' Aragon
Pierre Ier d' Aragon (born towards 1074 - died with Huesca in 1104) was king of Aragon and Navarre between 1094 and 1104.

From the June 4th, 1094, he became king d' Aragon and of Navarre, whereas he was count de Sobrarbe and Ribagorza since 1085. The reign of Pierre Ier corresponds to the expansion of the Aragonese territory in its central parts and Eastern, reaching the Sierra of Alcubierre and the Monegros.
It conquered Huesca in 1095, after having put in rout Al-Musta' in II of Saragossa at the battle of Alcoraz. He fought at the side of the Cid to the battle of Bairén (1097). Later, it took Barbastro (1101), Sariñena and it tried to seize Saragossa. It besieged Tamarite de Litera (1104). It regulated the fuero infançons. It hardens the military supremacy of the Christian troops on those of the Moslems. He died the September 28th 1104, in the Val of Aran.
It Maria in first weddings with Innate of Aquitaine, with Jaca, in 1086, of which he had two children who died before their father:

Pedro d' Aragon, which Maria with María Rodríguez girl of Cid, and which died in 1104.

Innate of Aragon, which died in 1103.
In second weddings, it Maria the August 16th 1097 with Huesca with Berta, girl of the marquis Pierre of Italy and Agnes of Poitou, giving him like dowry of the grounds in Galliguera de Huesca, on which she controlled several years after her death.
It did not have a descent of this second marriage. So after his death, his/her Alphonse brother succeeded to him.
