Pierre Ibère
Pierre Ibère ( C. 400-491) is a monk of origin ibère (i.e. géorgienne), wire of prince hostage to Constantinople, fled in Palestine, with Jerusalem initially where it founded the first monastery ibère (located close to the Tower of David but not identified by archeology), then, after the council of Chalcédoine (451) which he refused to accept, like the majority of the monks of Palestine under Juvénal, appointed bishop of Gaza.
