Pierre II , born in 1438, died in Mills in 1503, was lord de Beaujeu, then duke ''' of Bourbon ''' and of Auvergne in 1488 with died of his/her brother Charles II.

He was wire of Charles Ier, duke of Bourbon, and Agnès of Burgundy

---- He took part in the Ligue of the Public property, but Louis XI succeeds in detaching it from the party of the princes and Maria with her daughter Anne.

It fought the Jean V, count d' Armagnac, for the king in Guyenne in 1472. The king entrusted then the fight to him against Jacques of Armagnac, duke of Nemours and count of Walk, and gave him the county of Walk in reward and it was made general lieutenant of the kingdom. His wife was regent of the kingdom during the minority of the king Charles VIII. In the majority of the king, it was withdrawn in its grounds preferring to direct its own court that to have a subordinate role with that of France. It disadvised in Charles VIII engaging in the Guerres of Italy.

He married in 1473 Anne of France (1461 † 1522), girl of Louis XI, king de France and of Charlotte of Savoy, and had:

• Charles, count de Clermont (1476 † 1498)
• Suzanne (1491 † 1521), married to Charles III of Bourbon (1490-1527)
