Pierre II of Amboise
Pierre II of Amboise , it was born towards 1357 and died in 1426. He was lord of Amboise, Bléré and Montrichard and count of Benon. It was the son of Isabeau de Thouars and Ingelger Ier d' Amboise (lord of Amboise and Berrie) died in 1373. He was thus the grandson of Louis Ier de Thouars and of Jeanne de Dreux.

31ème Viscount of Thouars: 1397-1426
It succeeded his aunt Péronnelle of Thouars in 1397. The Viscount of Thouars constituted a very significant increase in the power of the house of Amboise.
It was a faithful ally of Arthur of Brittany, count de Richemond and constable of France, including against the King of France Charles VII. This was not always very favorable for him. In 1404, it inherited his/her mother and her aunt Isabeau and Marguerite de Thouars of the châtellenie of Talmont. He died in 1426 and is buried in the church of Cordeliers d' Amboise.
He married towards 1377 Jeanne de Rohan (girl of Jean Ier de Rohan and of Jeanne of Leon) but she died in 1407 without him to give of heir. He married in second weddings in 1408 Anne de Goyon (girl of Bertrand III of Goyon-Matignon and Marie of Rochefort), but she did not give him a heir either.
