Pierre III Aron is the prince of Moldavie of 1451 with 1452, then of 1454 with 1455 and of 1455 with 1457.
Biography
Born towards 1419/1421, he is an illegitimate son of Alexandre Ier the Good.
He becomes prince de Moldavie the October 16th 1451 after having made assassinate the day before Bogdan II Muşat. He is détroné in February 1452 by Alexandrel Muşat again prince in alternation with Alexandrel of August 1454 in February 1455 then starting from the May 25th 1455. This same year he recognizes Polish suzerainty then in March/May 1456 with the agreement of Métropolite Teoctist and the boyards of Moldavie, that of the Turks with an annual tribute of 2.000 ducats gold.
April 14th, 1457, after being beaten in Doljesti on April 12th, it is definitively driven out throne by Etienne III Large the, wire of Bogdan II, which is victorious with the battle of Orbic. Petru Aaron takes refuge under the protection of the Poles in the citadel of Khotin which will return in Moldavie only in 1464. The deposed prince flees then in Transylvania with the support of the king de Hongrie Mathias Corvin, it intrigues to take again the capacity. He is captured and decapitated at the time of an incursion beyond the Carpathes by Etienne III Large the in 1469.
