Pierre Guillaume (August 11th 1925, Saint-Malo - December 3rd 2002) more known under the name of “Commander” Pierre Guillaume known as " the Crab-tambour" , was an officer of the marine French E, taking part in the putsch of Algiers, and member of OAS.
At the end of 1956, it returns to Paris and learns that his/her brother Jean-Marie, officer parachutist fell to the head from his commando in Algérie. He asks immediately and obtains to be transferred in the Army, in order to succeed his brother with the head of the commando. Promise had been made that this commando would bear the name of the first of that which would be killed with the combat, the commando takes the name of Guillaume then. Pierre Guillaume will order it from July 14th, 1957 to March 12th, 1958. He then becomes to advise naval of the general Challe during the putsch of Algiers, he is condemned to 4 one-year suspended sentences. He engages in OAS near the generals Raoul Salan, Maurice Challe, André Zeller, and Edmond Jouhaud. Decree in May 1962, Pierre Guillaume is condemned to 12 years of reclusion and is imprisoned with the prison of Tulle (France) with the generals putschists.
He works then like advising with the maritime security in Saudi Arabia, and takes part in operations of Bob Denard with the the Comoros. With several former servicemen, it will also engage in defense of the people karen in Burma.
He lived on board his sailing ship, the Agathe , in the wearing of Saint-Malo.
Pierre Guillaume animated a Libre weekly Newspaper of 1:30 on Radio Courtesy, almost until his death. He was a personal friend of Jean-Marie Le Pen, which he often accepted with this emission.
