Pierre Guillaumat (oil)

The Pierre Guillaumat was a giant Pétrolier, named in the honor of the industrialist Pierre Guillaumat. With a Port into heavy of 555  051 tons, it is the largest ship ever built; only the Knock Nevis reached a port as a heavy superior, but following an enlarging and not with its construction. The Pierre Guillaumat had three Sister-ship S slightly smaller: the Batillus , the Meadow and the Bellamya .

Brought into service in November 1977, it sails with the National company of Navigation until February 1983, where it remains on standby with Fujaïrah; put on sale on July 12th, it is acquired by Hyundai, famous Ulsan Master , then demolished in October 1983 with Ulsan in South Korea.
