Pierre Grimbert
Pierre Grimbert is a French author born with Lille in 1970. It works some time as librarian there, then share with Bordeaux in order to studied the trades of the edition as well as publicity.
It is in 1995, after a short collaboration to prepare a cartoon, whom it starts to write by beginning its cycle of the Secret of Ji , which is a success. Six heirs , the first volume, is crowned Prix Julia Verlanger 1997 and Prix Ozone 1997 of the best novel of French-speaking Fantasy .
It was harnessed then with its second cycle, Malerune , of which it wrote only the first volume. The two following books of the series are written by Michel Robert.
Today, Pierre Grimbert writes fantastic books for children, and of the novels of fantasy. He created in 2004 his own publisher, the Editions October, in collaboration with Audrey Françaix.
