Pierre Goursat, one of principal the founder of the Communauté of Emmanuel was born on August 15th, 1914 in Paris. He will remain all his life there. Child, it loses his single brother to which it was very close.

The engagement and the foundation of Emmanuel

Pierre Goursat dies on March 25th 1991 in the festival of the Annunciation. Its mass of burial takes place to the Église of the Holy Trinity (Paris) and is chaired by the cardinal Lustiger. It is buried in Paray-Le-Monial.
