Pierre Goldman

Pierre Goldman , (June 22nd 1944 with Lyon - September 20th 1979 with Paris) is a committed intellectual of Extreme left having slipped into the banditism, half-brother of the singer Jean-Jacques Goldman.

Childhood

It is born towards the end from the war from Polish Jewish parents (Alter Mojsze Goldman and Janine Sochaczewska) who take an active part in the Résistance. Admiring of the action of his parents, it adheres to the Communist youths, is responsible for the service of order of the Union of the communist students and ends up joining the Venezuela in 1968, where it will spend one year in the rows of the guerilla.

Banditism

As of its return in France, in September 1969, it connects the steerings with hand armée : a pharmacy, a factory of haute couture and an agent of the family benefits.

Goldman business

A police informer denounces Pierre Goldman as author of a bloody hold-up, having taken place Boulevard Richard-Lenoir in Paris the December 19th 1969. Two pharmacists are killed there, a customer as well as a policeman as a civilian wounded.

Decree, Pierre Goldman denies to have taken part there and recognizes only three preceding steerings. Supported by the mediums of left, its lawsuit unchains passions. He will be initially condemned to perpetuity by the Court of Assizes of Paris in 1974. The judgment will be cancelled by the Court of appeal. Then, at the end of a second lawsuit, he will be discharged for the murders of the boulevard Richard Lenoir, and will be condemned to twelve years of prison for the three other steerings. By the play of the handing-over of sorrow and detentions pending trial, it is released at once.

After his release, Pierre Goldman collaborates in particular in the newspapers Modern times and in Libération .

Assassination

Pierre Goldman is assassinated Thursday September 20th 1979 in full street with bearing end, places of the Abbot-Georges-Hénocque to Paris 13th. The witnesses describe three people of Hispanic pace. The police force thinks of a gangster track. The assassination nevertheless is asserted with the AFP by an organization of Extrême unknown right-hand side: Honor of the police force . Its burial will be followed by 15.000 people.

The culprits are not found and several assumptions are born:

VSD (July 19th 2001) evokes the French secret services.
Some even think that it could have put in scene its assassination to stick to its image of revolutionist.
the most serious track seems to be that of the Marseilles medium. Financed by the Grupos Antiterroristas de Liberación , following rumors according to which Pierre Goldman would have helped the ETA to get weapons. In April 2006, the newspaper Libération thus publishes an interview with the police chief Lucien Aime-White in whom it reveals the name of his assassin:

“It is my adviser Jean-Pierre Maïone who has firearm Pierre Goldman and acknowledged it to me well afterwards. At the beginning, as the claim was signed " Honor of the police" and that Maïone worked with the director of the RG (General informations), Maurice Paoli, old of the networks French Algérie, I thought that these " ultras" had liquidated Goldman, discharged double murder of pharmacy. But my Paoli colleague, who did not hide me large-thing, said to me: " It is not nous". And then my indic', Maïone, explained me that it is the future release Action group, GALL, who had decided " flingage" of Goldman. The GALL, it was a parallel service of made up counter-terrorism secret agents and hooligans handled by the Spanish official repressive forces which liquidated people of ETA (armed separatist Basque, note). Pierre Goldman, who attended the brewery Bofinger, stronghold of the Basque freedom fighters, ambitionnait to assemble a network armed to counter these anti-ETA. He contacted hooligans of left, as Charlie Bauer which did not go, Mesrine which was ravelled, and of the autonomous ones. By praise its future actions against GALL, Goldman appeared dangerous. Marseilles hooligans of GALL killed it with Maïone, which also evoked a commander, old SDECE but active at the time, without me to give its identity. ”

The police chief Lucien Aime-White confirmed this version in a book published in 2006 heading Indic and the Police chief (by Lucien Aime-White and Jean-Michel Caradec' H, Plon, 2006,246 pages).
