Pierre Gibert

Pierre Gibert , born in 1936 in France is a priest Jésuite, doctor in Théologie and comparative literature. A long time professor of Interpretation of the Old Testament to the Faculty of theology of Lyon, it teaches with the Center Sevres (faculties Jesuits of Paris). He also directs since 1998 the review Recherches of religious science.

Impassioned by the Bible, he is author of several works. Its “Little story of the biblical interpretation”, published in 1992, became today traditional in the field of interpretation.
