Pierre Forcadel , born with Béziers, French mathematician of the 16th century
It obtained in 1560 by the protection of Ramus a pulpit of mathematics to the Collège de France, and died towards 1576.
One owes him of the French translations:
- of the Geometry of Euclide , 1564;
- of the Books of Proclus on the movement , 1565;
- of the Treated weights of Archimedes , 1565, etc
His/her brother is Etienne Forcadel.
