Pierre Flatres
Pierre Flatres (1921 - 1998) belonged to this school of Breton geography which made it possible to better include/understand the geography of the Brittany and other Celtic countries. Geographer ruralist originating in the Country Bigouden, it devotes his thesis in 1955 to four Celtic regions (Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Man) before centering his work on the comprehension of Breton space. He received in 1992 the Grand Prix of the Société of geography.
