Pierre Dupuis

Pierre Dupuis (sometimes spelled Dupuys ) is a painter French, born the March 3rd 1610 with Montfort-l' Amaury and dead the February 18th 1682 with Paris.
It goes in Italy where it meets towards 1637 Pierre Mignard (1612-1695). It enters to the Academy in 1663. It specializes on died natures, its style being marked by the painter of Northern Europe and the rigor of the Protestant religion. The inluence of Jacques Linard (1597-1645) and of Louise Moillon (1610-1696) appears in its paintings of bouquet of flower which are very famous at its time.
