Pierre Delaunay-Deslandes
Pierre Delaunay-Deslandes , born in 1726 and died in 1803, is director of the manufacture of the ices of Saint-Gobain. He improves the furnaces of them to save wood, makes them ready to use the Houille, removes the blowing, with which one could not make ices of very great dimensions, and extended the casting to 2,707 meters.
