Pierre Chatillon
Pierre Chatillon (Nicolet, 1939 -) is a Poète, Romancier, Nouvelliste, Essayiste, Compositeur and creator of parks Québécois.
Pierre Chatillon was born in Nicolet in a family from musicians — his father, his mother, his grandfather, his great-grandfather were to it all. After studies with the Seminar of Nicolet, it remained three years with Paris where it studied the literature with the Sorbonne. He wrote its first collection of poems, the cries , at age the 17 years and published it the following year.
Prolific writer, it never ceased making appear new works. He was professor with the Université of Quebec with Three-Rivers, of 1968 with 1996. In 1998, it created, with Nicolet, the literary park the tree of words . In 2005, it made install, in the park of the lilacs of Bécancour, three great sculptures entitled the bird-poems . It organized several spectacles during which it recited its poems in the agent, interpreted its own songs, played of the saxophone and an instrument called set of bottles which had been built by his/her grandfather.
Starting from 2005, it started to compose of innumerable pieces of music (more than 40 quartets) and of the songs. It produced three CD: Air for Claire, the birds, Where goes the birds of our dreams? In 2005, also, it made appear its autobiography entitled the sand castle.
