Pierre Chappaz
Pierre Chappaz is a Business man French, born the April 12th 1959 with Toulon (Var). It is one of the founders of Kelkoo and Wikio.
Raise central École Paris, it briefly works with the the World Bank, then it contributes to the prefiguration of the Cité of sciences and industry of the Villette, then with the Futuroscope of Poitiers, where it becomes acquainted with Thierry Breton. It will create then the Festival of documentary of company, then joined the consultancy in communication Bernard Krief Consultants, where it succeeds Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
Passed by IBM, Toshiba and Computer Associates, it is one of the five cofounders of the price gauge Kelkoo in 1999, which it directs until the acquisition of the company by Yahoo!. Briefly directing of Yahoo Europe, Pierre Chappaz then becomes to advise Fonds of investment Internet Suisse Index Ventures.
He has creates in 2005 Wikio, a Search engine of information in the sites media and Blog S, and he was, until July 2007, one of the leaders of Netvibes service of gate personnalisable.
He is in addition chronicler on Libération.fr.
He is impassioned of climbing, especially in the great ways of mountain.
