Pierre Bruneau

Pierre Bruneau (1952 -) is a Journaliste and a TV host Québécois. He has been chief of antenna of the bulletins of news of end-of-day to the Réseau VAT for 30 years.
Biography
In 1972, while he studied in psychology at the University of Quebec, Pierre Bruneau makes his first weapons with the radio like organizer at a station of Victoriaville. He becomes thereafter to defer to another radio station with Three-Rivers. In addition to his engagement of professional communicator towards the public, Pierre is also identified in all Quebec with his voluntary social activities and the fight against cancer, more particularly leukemia in the children.
Since 1979, it devoted much time and energy to LEUCAN, an association whose spokesperson was for a time, his son Charles, a true example of courage and determination. It often acts like lecturer in addition to contributing actively to the training of the students in several colleges and universities of Quebec.
In 1988, his/her Charles son dies of the Leucémie.
In 2001, following the attacks of the September 11th, the Réseau VAT offers to him to animate a new bulletin of news in end-of-day. Thus he will become the chief of antenna of the bulletin VAT 17 hours , in addition to animating VAT 18 hours . One year later, Claude Charron Co-will animate with him these two bulletins of news. This tamdem appreciated of the public will last until 2006, whereas Claude leaves Quebec to go to live in France.
Today, it Co-animates VAT 12 hours with Pierre Jobin and the bulletins VAT 17 hours and VAT 18 hours in company of Paul Larocque.
The October 19th 2006, it celebrated its 30ième birthday as chief of antenna to the Réseau VAT.
