Pierre Bonhôte

Pierre Bonhôte, born on June 17th, 1965 with Neuchâtel, is a Political personality Suisse, member of the Swiss Socialist party.

Biography

After having followed its studies to Hauterive and Neuchâtel, it obtains a diploma (in 1988 with the Université of Neuchâtel) then a doctorate (in 1991 with the Université of Bern) in Chimie. It leaves then to the the United States of America to pass a postdoctorat in 1992 there to the Massachusetts Institute off Technology.

Appointed with the the Great Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel since 1989, it is, of 1993 with 2000, collaborator scientist with the federal polytechnic school of Lausanne. During the same time, it is to advise communal town of Neuchâtel, director of town planning, forests and fields, tourism and transport. After its not-re-election with the communal elections of 2004, it is elected in 2005 with the Conseil of the States. He concedes however a broad defeat in 2007 which sees Didier Burkhalter charming to him his seat with the room of the cantons.

He works as engineer in a private office, in which he is in particular responsible for the project AventiBOIS .
