Pierre Beech
Born in 1951 with Dakar, Pierre Fayard is titular of a doctorate in information sciences and communication of the Université of Grenoble III whose subject relates to the changes of the public communication of sciences and technology (1987).
It enters to the Université of Poitiers in 1988 when he is cofounder of the Research laboratory on the Communication and the Scientific information and technique (LABCIS) where he leads comparative studies on the scientific information in the European daily press. In 1989, it off takes part in the creation of the global area network Public Communication Science and Technology which it chairs until 1993 and of which he remains member of Steering Committee
In the years 1994 - 96, it contributes in a central way to emergence of the economic pole intelligence of the University of Poiiers (Institute of the Communication and new Technology) and directs the first OF in Economic Intelligence between 1998 and 2001. It is within this framework that it develops a line of research on the compared approach of the strategic cultures.
In 2004, it takes the direction of the free-Brazilian Center of scientific and technical documentation in Sao Paulo - Brazil.
