Pierre Bedier

Pierre Bedier (born the September 30th 1957 with Mount-with-Marsan, Moors) is a Politician French pertaining to the UMP.

Biography

After its studies with the Institute of political studies of Paris and with ESSEC, it leaves its initial trade which is that of head of undertaking to devote itself to the policy.

Governmental functions

  • Secretary of State in charge of the Real estate schemes of justice, near, the Minister Minister of Justice for the Justice (Government Jean-Pierre Raffarin (2)) from June 17th, 2002 to January 22nd, 2004. It is between-other charged to increase the number of Prison S in particular by calling upon the private sector.

Blamed in an corruption affair, it decided to leave the government with the beginning of the year 2004. He is judged starting from September 25th, 2006 by the magistrates' court of Paris in company of two other elected officials. He incurs up to ten years of imprisonment and the sorrows of ineligibility.

At summer found guilty and condemned on December 12th, 2006 by XIe Criminal Court of Paris specialized in the financial offenses to 18 months of suspended sentence, 50.000 euros of fine and three years of deprivation of its civic rights. Severe judgment because of the gravity of the facts selected: passive corruption and social abuses good.

Business of the OPIEVOY

Pierre Bedier was put in examination on December 21st, 2000 for " attack with the equality of the candidates in the markets publics" and favoritism when it chaired OPIEVOY, office HLM of Yvelines (See the Affaire of the OPIEVOY). It profited from a withdrawal of case on April 30th, 2002.

Bédier-Delfau business

  • the Business Bedier or business Delfau is a French politico-financial business interesting of the UMP elected officials of Yvelines.

  • Michel Delfau, deceased in 2005, had specialized companies in industrial cleaning and guarding. It would have used the bank cards of its companies at personal ends. Its ex-wife (since August 2000), Aloka Delfau, alerted justice on December 17th, 2001. Michel Delfau poured with three politicians of the Yvelines (Pierre Bedier, Gilles Forray and Jacques Masdeu-Arus sums in liquid in exchange of the attribution of regular government contracts. Delfau thus profited from all the markets of cleaning of the towns of Poissy and Mantes-the-Pretty starting from the election of Jacques Masdeu-Arus and Pierre Bedier at their head, respectively in 1983 and 1995. During the period 1998-2001, the exits made in cash by Michel Delfau on the accounts of its companies service providers were about 200.000 euros. A sum given then to the elected officials, according to the charge.

  • the links between Pierre Bedier and Michel Delfau were very old and close. Pierre Bedier had been associated in the past with Michel Delfau in communications company DB2A (Delfau, Bedier, Ancelet Associés) domiciled until 1989 in Paris, with 65 rue de Rivoli, in buildings sub-leased at a company of Michel Delfau. The chartered accountant of DB2A was not other than Jean-Pierre Pécriaux, also countable of the companies of Mr. Delfau. In addition various companies belonging to this one were customer of DB2A, like AiNett (company of cleaning implied in the Bedier business) BOARD (company of guarding) or Promotess.

In addition DB2A also maintained the close links with Jacques Masdeu-Arus and Gilles Forray, since it had as main customers, at the end of the Eighties, the Town of Poissy of which it assurrait the communication through an association " ad hoc ".
  • In this business, Pierre Bedier is suspected of " concealment of abuse goods sociaux" and of " corruption passive". It is continued with three other defendants, among whom Jacques Masdeu-Arus, also appointed to him (UMP) of the Yvelines and mayor of Poissy.

  • In the night from September 7th to 8th 2003, Chantal Guéroult, the partner of Gilles Forray, one of the defendants of the Business Bedier, dies during a transfer to the law courts. It would have committed suicide with drugs against paludism in its possession.

  • on September 25th, 2006, Pierre Bedier compared in front of the Magistrates' court of Paris. October 24th, 2006, at the end of a three hours indictment, the procureure Marie-Christine Daubigny asked for 18 months of suspended sentence, 80.000 euros of fine, together with a sorrow complementary to three years of deprivation of civic rights, against Pierre Bedier.

  • on December 12th, 2006, Pierre Bedier was condemned to 18 months of suspended sentence, 50.000 euros of fine and three years of ineligibility for passive corruption and concealment of abuse of corporate asset. In accordance with article LO 130 of the electoral code, he was also condemned to six years of ineligibility. Pierre Bedier made call of this decision “ because, naturally, I do not have made it for what this court order was made ”. The call has a suspensory effect.

  • on February 7th, 2007, the connected Duck reveals the disappearance of incriminating evidences (sealed) of the Affaire Bedier with the financial Pôle of the Tribunal of Paris.
