Pierre Baker , born on May 12th, 1937 with Saint-Jean-with-Maurienne in Savoy, deceased on February 15th, 1973 with the Perreux-on-Marne (the Valley-of-Marne), is a Journaliste and a Dessinateur lampoonist French.

He is the uncle of Bruno Solo, the actor and stimulating French.

Biography

At that time his/her parents are teachers with Saint-Sorlin-in Arves in a school of high mountain, in snow for six months of the year, then in Bochet above Midsummer's Day, where they discover his talents of grass draftsman.

His/her parents who became acquainted with Célestin Freinet, feed their school and family library of many works on paintings and the drawings. He discovers Dürer, Brueghel, Vinci, Matisse, Dufy, Forain, Daumier and Dubout.

After studies in a college of Chambéry, all its family moves, in 1953, in Paris region, in Nogent-sur-Marne, to facilitate her artistic studies.

Subscribed with the review Sciences and Voyages (which it will read during 20 years), it undertakes a series entitled the Life in the countryside by successive boards, of the imaginary lives under all the latitudes, the times.

In 1973, the family of the five Baker is installed with Queige between Albertville and Beaufort, in an old Savoyard farm of 1737, without comfort and ever restored where it organizes with difficulties the publication of his newspaper.

February 15th, 1973, it goes up to see Cavanna in Paris, falls ill in his sister in whom it places, writes two letters, in Cavanna for the continuation of their talks, another with his wife, accompanied by a drawing: the plan of the carpark of Chambéry where it left its car. It gives its costume, lengthens, makes a second infarction and dies.

It will have designed only 3 specimens of its monthly newspaper.

Pierre Fournier remains in the spirits like a Pamphlétaire, a pacifist militant and the precursor of the movement ecologist French.

The newspaper the open Mouth

Founded in 1973, He will have known only 3 specimens under Pierre Fournier with his collaborators who are Cabu, Reiser, Gébé, Bernard Charbonneau, Emile Prémillieu, Philippe Lebreton.

The title leaves the editions of the Public garden and becomes weekly in 1974 and it will amalgamate in 1977 with non-violent Combat to be entitled the Open Mouth/NonViolent Combat

It becomes again the Open Mouth in 1978.

It disappears with its last number 314 of May 29th, 1980, with for title: I love you, so long .
