Pierre Béarn

Pierre Béarn , of his true name Louis-Gabriel Besnard , is a man of letters French born the June 15th 1902 with Bucharest (Romania), French and dead parents the October 27th 2004 in Paris, at the 102 years age.

Biography (1902-2004)

Poet, novelist, fabulist (360 fables with its credit!), journalist, author of accounts of voyages, critical gastronomical and literary, it carried out a rather adventurous life before being fixed as bookseller at Paris where it founded in 1934 the bookstore " of Zodiaque" , located in the Latin Quarter. He lived up to 102 years. Always with the service of the others, organizer during several years of a radio program celebrating poetry, it was in addition, during 18 years, the person in charge and single writer of the Magazine the Footbridge . Pierre Béarn is also the author of the slogan remained famous: “Subway-job-dodo”.
