Pierre Arpaillange

Pierre Arpaillange (born with Carlux, the Dordogne, the March 13rd 1924) is a former magistrate and former minister French.

In the magistrature

After the License in right, it begins a career in the Magistrature in 1949. Judge temporary with Orleans (1949), then with Paris (1950), substitute with Meaux (1953), detached with the file of the Court of appeal (1954 - 1959), substitute with Versailles (1959) then with Paris (1962), general secretary of the parquet floor of the Court of Appeal of Paris and general secretary of the parquet floor of the Court of appeal (1962).

With the Chancellery

Magistrate detached with the Ministry for Justice of 1965 with 1974, it will be adviser technical of the minister and, on several occasions, Directeur of the cabinet of the Minister of Justice and director of the Criminal cases and the Graces of the Chancellery. Public prosecutor of Paris and close the Court of appeal

He is member since the May 24th 2005 of the Committee of honor of the bicentenary of the Court of Auditors chaired by current the first president, Philippe Séguin.
