Pierre Alexandrovitch, count of Romanzov (1730-1796) with was a Russian Feld-maréchal.
Born with Saint-Pétersbourg and wire from Alexandre Ivanovitch, count de Romanzov, it was sent in 1769 against the Turks, and gained over them two great victories: he took Ismaïlov, Bender, Kilia, Akermann, Brahilov, Giurgevo, and advanced towards Choumla, where the Top dog was camped. He forced it to ask the peace, who was signed in 1774, Kutchuk-Kaïnardji.
Catherine II filled it benefits, and the government of the Ukraine gave him. It made it return to follow to Berlin the large-duke Paul, and, in 1787, named it general directed against the Turks. But, tired the heights of Potemkine, Romanzov gave its resignation.
He is the father of Nicolas Petrovitch, count de Romanzov.
