Pierre-Albert Birot (1876 - 1967) is a writer, Dramaturge and Poète French.
Founder in 1916 of the review SIC (Sounds, Ideas, Colors). Crucible of the literary and artistic avant-gardes until December 1919 (54 numbers republished by Jean-Michel Places in anastatic reproduction). One raises among, his collaborators, Guillaume Apollinaire, Louis Aragon, max Jacob, Pierre Reverdy, Philippe Soupault, Tristan Tzara, Severini.
The writer leaves a very abundant work republished by Rougerie (Poetry, Théâtre), Jean-Michel Place (Prose) and Gallimard (in the Poésie collection).
The major piece is the epopee of the Six books of Grabinoulor (Jean-Michel Place, 1991, republication 2007).
