Pierre Aigrain
Pierre Aigrain , born the September 28th 1924 and dead the October 30th 2002, is a French physicist, Secretary of State in charge of research under Valery Giscard d'Estaing.
It is university lecturer of theoretical physics to the Faculty of Science of Lille in 1952 and affected at the physics laboratory of the National university. In 1954 it is named university lecturer, then professor without pulpit (1957), with the Faculty of Science of the university of Paris for the teaching of certificate PCB, and is appointed full professor of the pulpit of electrical engineering in 1958.
December 12th, 1958, it is one of the first 12 wise receipts by the Général de Gaulle to launch the General delegation to the scientific research and technique (DGRST). In 1961, he becomes scientific director of the direction of research and test facilities to the ministry for the armies then, in 1967, Acting general with the scientific research and technique. From April 6th, 1978 to May 22nd, 1981, he was Secretary of State near the First minister in charge for research in the 3 {{E}} government of Raymond Barre. He is elected member of the Academy of Science in 1988.
He was the scientific adviser of Alain Gomez with the head of Thomson CSF and one of the founding members and leaders of the Association France-Taiwan, founded on September 19th, 1991 a few weeks after the sale of the frigates in Taiwan.
