Pierre-Yves Lambert
Pierre-Yves Lambert is teaching and French linguist. He is researcher with the C.N.R.S. and in charge of conferences at the Practical School of the High Studies in Historical and Philological Sciences, with the Sorbonne, Paris.
He is specialized in the history and the etymology of the Celtic Langues. He in particular worked on the gloses in Vieil Old man-Breton Irish, and Old man-Welsh, and on the Gallic inscriptions. He collaborated in the Recueil of the Inscriptions Gauloises .
He is the author of an important work on the Gallic Langue.
