Pierre-Michel Bouchard
Pierre-Michel Bouchard (born in 1953 in Quebec) is a Canadian lawyer (Québécois). It was Chef of the civic Action of Quebec between 2005 and 2007 and candidate demolishes with the town hall of Quebec to the municipal general elections of 2005.
Lawyer specialized in right of the businesses, it represented the Barreau of Quebec before the committee of the House of Commons of Canada on the Faillite and insolvency.
He was chairman of the board of the Festival of summer of Quebec (1990). He was chairman of the board of the Grand Theater of Quebec. He was chairman of the board of the Worldwide games of the police officers and firemen (2005).
Since 2007, it was named by the the Council of Ministers of Quebec at the position of president managing director of the Center of the congresses of Quebec.
Policy
Pierre-Michel Bouchard becomes chief of Action the civic party of Quebec in 2005, succeeding Paul Shoiry. He is the candidate of this party to the town hall of Quebec at the time of the election of 2005, but east demolishes by Andrée P. Boucher. He resigns as chief of this party in 2007. Jean-Marie Laliberté succeeds to him by interim at this station.
Distinctions
He is member elect of the National order of the Merit of the French Republic, in 1998.
