Pierre-Jean Gambu (Paris, towards 1749 - Paris, June 17th 1814) is a Ballet master Danseur and French.
“Supernumerary” dancer with the Comédie-Française of 1764 to 1766, then with the Opera of 1767 to 1769, Gambu dances then with Lille, then with Montpellier in 1777. He is engaged with the Théâtre of the Currency of Brussels in 1779 as ballet master and First dancer serious and half-character. The following year, it yields its use of ballet master to Laurent, to find it in 1781 and the reperdre two years later, with the profit of Hamoir.
Boarder of the Theater of the Currency since 1784, Gambu teaches the dance with the children who occur with the Théâtre of the Park under the direction of Alexandre and Hermann Bultos.
