Pierre-Jean Audouin
Pierre-Jean Audouin , known as the Sapper of the Battalion of the Carmelite friars , born the December 24th 1764 with Paris, dead the May 11th 1808 with Bayonne (Yrénées-Atlantiques), is a journalist and a revolutionary French.
Of modest origin, it is devoted to journalism at the beginning of the Revolution and becomes writer-director of a periodical, the universal Newspaper, or the Revolutions of the Kingdom , which appears November 23rd 1789 with the 14 Prairial An III (June 2nd 1795.
