Pierre-Jacques Cazes
Pierre-Jacques Cazes (1676 - 1754) is a French painter of 18th. Born in Paris.
It was accepted in 1704 with the Royal Académie of Painting and Sculpture and became director, then chancellor of this company.
It covered especially religious subjects: the Parisian churches of Our-Lady-of-Paris, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Germain-of-Meadows, Saint M3edard's Day are decorated of its paintings.
He had as a pupil Jean Siméon Chardin.
