Pierre-Henri Teitgen was born with Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) the May 29th 1908 and is deceased the April 6th 1997 with Paris. Lawyer, professor and politician French.
Biography
Fact prisoner of war in 1940, it plays a big role in the Résistance. Deputy MRP of Ille-et-Vilaine of 1945 to 1958. It chaired the Popular Republican movement (started from tendency Christian-Democrat) of 1952 to 1956.It is many times ministers in the governments of the IVe République. Although member of the constitutional Advisory committee in 1958, it becomes critical at the place of the policy of De Gaulle. He supports the attempt at candidature of Gaston Defferre in 1964-1965. In September 1976, it is named judge with the European Cour of the human rights.
He is the father of Francis Teitgen and the son of Henri Teitgen, former editor association of the regional newspaper the West-Flash .
