Pierre-Henri Raphanel
Pierre-Henri Raphanel , born the May 27th 1961 with Algiers in Algeria, is an old racing driver French. Author of a short passage in Formula 1, it especially shone in the races of endurance.
Biography
Beginning the competition with the Karting, it becomes in 1981 Champion of France of Karting Formulates has, then launches out in the Formule 3 and becomes Champion of France of this category in 1985, gaining the Grand Prix of Monaco F3. Passing in Formula 3000 of 1986 with 1988, it will finish respectively in 12th, 13th and 14th position of this championship. Then the doors of the Formule 1 opens with him of fine of season.Pierre-Henri Raphanel took part in 17 Grand Prix of Formule 1 for the stables Larrousse, Coloni and Rial, beginning the November 13rd 1988 for the Grand Prix from Australia. In 2006, it worked as pilot tester for Bugatti for the Veyron.
