Pierre-Gabriel Buffardin
Pierre-Gabriel Buffardin is a Compositeur French born in Provence in 1690 and died in 1768.
Biography
Flutist virtuoso, Buffardin was soloist at the court of the Voter of Saxony with Dresden (Dresden) of 1715 with 1749. It had as pupils Johann Joachim Quantz as well as the brother of Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Jacob Bach, which it met with Constantinople. Its Sonate for flute is the only work which one is sure that it is not apocryphal book. Its concerto to five as a semi minor was written for its pupil Quantz virtuoso, who said of Buffardin: “ It played only of the fast things: because it is in that my Master excelled. ”
