Pierre-François Percy
Pierre-François Percy , born with Montagney (Haute-Saône) the October 28th 1754 and died in Paris the February 10th 1825, is a Médecin French, Chirurgie N as a chief of the armies under the Révolution and the Empire.
Biography
Wire of surgeon, it becomes itself surgeon in the royal army starting from 1782. It continues to exert its functions under the Revolution and it is named general inspector of the department of health of the armies in year XII (1803). He is elected member of the Academy of Science in 1807 and he is named baron of Empire in 1809. The return of the Monarchy in 1815 the constrained one to the retirement. It is however named honorary member of the Académie of medicine in 1820.Its memories were published and constitute a source on military medicine at the beginning of the 19th century.
Its name was given to the Hôpital of instruction armies Percy of Clamart.
