Pierre-Etienne Flandin

Pierre-Etienne Flandin , born the April 12th 1889 with Paris, dead the June 13rd 1958 with Saint-Jean-Cape-Ferrat (the Alpes-Maritimes), was a lawyer and Politician French, a long time president of the democratic Alliance.

He was the son of Etienne Flandin (1853-1922), magistrate and itself lawyer and politician.

He exerted the functions of President of the Council of the ministers (Third Republic) then those of chief of the government (Régime of Vichy):

  • Député Yonne of 1914 to 1942

  • will find all the same, in 1954, its seat of general adviser and will die, in 1958
