Pierre-Buffière , Péira Bufíera in Occitan is a common French, located in the department of the High-Vienna and the area the Limousin.

- the church Holy-Cross: built in 1061 by Goscelin of Pierre-Buffière, it was modified at the 13th century and 18th century.
- the hotel of the Three-Angels: old relay of station of the 16th century, the pope Pie VII slept there in 1816.

- Guillaume Dupuytren was born there the October 6th 1777.
- Honore Gabriel Riqueti de Mirabeau, celebrates powerful orator of the French revolution. The Limousin by his/her mother, last going down from the barons of Pierre-Buffière. He passed most of his youth to Pierre-Buffière and Saint-Bonnet-Briance. He died in 1791 after a tumultuous life and dissolue which made it fear and sometimes scorn. 100.000 people will attend her burial with the the Pantheon of Paris from where it was expelled three years to leave later the place to Marat. Its eloquence made forget its disgracieux and a little alarming physique.
