Pierre-Alain Muet
Mr. Pierre-Alain Muet Born on January 1st, 1945 in Lyon (the Rhone)
Assistant of the Mayor of Lyon and vice-president of the Urban community of Lyon in charge with economic development and the international relations in the team of Gerard Collomb, Pierre-Alain Muet is economist of profession. He is in particular president of the French Association of economic scene since September 2004. He was elected Député of Lyon vis-a-vis Emmanuel Hamelin in June 2007.
He was elected on June 17th, 2007, for XIIIe legislature (2007-2012), in the 2nd Circonscription of the Rhone. He is member of group SRC.
Pierre-Alain Muet was deputy President of the economic Conseil of analysis near the Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, of which he was economic council. He worked during his career with INSEE, CEPREMAP and OCFCE. He was professor of economy to Sciences Po and the Polytechnic school (1980-2004). He is engineer of the central Ecole of Paris (1968) and economic doctor science of the Université Paris 1.
